Refund Policy

All payments made to Lazy H Aviation for flight training, flight instruction, aircraft rental, ground instruction, discovery flights, training materials, deposits, or other services are considered non-refundable, except as expressly provided below or as otherwise required by applicable law.

By purchasing services from Lazy H Aviation, the customer acknowledges and agrees that flight training involves the reservation of aircraft, instructors, facilities, and other resources that may be scheduled and committed in advance. Accordingly, payments made toward training or other services are not subject to cancellation or refund solely because a student elects not to continue training, changes their plans, is unable to attend scheduled training, or otherwise chooses not to utilize services for which payment has been made.

Lazy H Aviation reserves the right to retain any amounts reasonably attributable to services already provided, scheduled aircraft or instructor time, administrative costs, materials, fees paid to third parties, cancellation or no-show charges, or other expenses incurred on behalf of the customer. Amounts paid to third parties on the customer's behalf, including but not limited to examination, testing, medical, certification, or other governmental or aviation-related fees, are not refundable by Lazy H Aviation.

Exceptional Circumstances

In extraordinary and exceptional circumstances, Lazy H Aviation may, at its sole discretion, consider a request for a refund, credit, or other accommodation. Such circumstances may include significant events that are demonstrably beyond the customer's reasonable control and that make continued participation in training impracticable.

Any exception to this policy will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed. The existence of an exceptional circumstance in one instance does not create an obligation to provide a refund or other accommodation in any other instance.

Requests for consideration under this section must be submitted in writing and may require reasonable documentation supporting the circumstances described. Lazy H Aviation reserves the sole discretion to determine whether the circumstances presented warrant an exception and, if so, the amount and form of any refund or credit.

Weather, Maintenance & Operational Cancellations

Flight operations are subject to weather, aircraft availability, maintenance requirements, instructor availability, airport conditions, and other operational considerations. Cancellations or delays resulting from such circumstances do not, by themselves, constitute grounds for a refund. When reasonably possible, Lazy H Aviation will work with the customer to reschedule affected training or services.

No Waiver

Failure by Lazy H Aviation to enforce any provision of this policy in a particular circumstance shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or establish a precedent for future circumstances.

This policy is intended to govern refunds and cancellations to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.

Lazy H Aviation reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of purchase or enrollment will generally govern the applicable transaction, subject to any requirements imposed by applicable law.
